Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring 5-star guest experiences
- Responsible for the financial performance of each business unit
- Responsible for the hospitality standards across the Botswana region for all 3 lodges and 3 camps
- Ensuring that the lodges are upheld to a 5 star standard for hospitality experience
- Create, implement, personalise and standardise guest delight experiences across the region
- Compilation of budgets and financial controls including month end processes and payroll
- Operational business reports to the Regional Manager
- Oversight of all the departments at lodge level
- Staff skills development and empathy
- Responsible for health and safety implementation
- Drive community development projects in conjunction with the Wild Impact
- Experience in stock management
- Work closely with the Human Capital Manager to identify and rectify staff training requirements
- Work closely with the Human Capital Manager to draft and ensure a smooth roll out of Development Plans for staff
Requirements
- A degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hospitality management position
- Valid Drivers’ Licence
