JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. (JCHX) has been awarded a five-year contract for underground mining services at MMG’s Khoemacau Copper Mine at Toteng, Zone 5, Botswana. JCHX seeks applications from suitably experienced and qualified individuals for the following positions to be based at Toteng, Zone 5:

A Paste Plant Maintenance Planner is responsible for management of the planning, coordinating and Scheduling of maintenance for Paste Fill equipment as per the design and OEM, Origin equipment Manufactures philosophy. This equipment is not limited to Compressors, conveyors, Pumps in the Paste fill operation to support operation underground mining. Focusing on planning/scheduling repairs, ensuring safety, optimizing reliability, managing teams, controlling costs, and keeping production running smoothly through effective preventive and corrective maintenance.

Requirements

  • BGCSE or Secondary school certificate.
  • Minimum qualification of a NCC in Maintenance Technician/Fitting.
  • Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering will be an added advantage.
  • 10 years in Process Plant or Fixed Underground Mining Environment.
  • 5 years in Fixed Planning position.
  • Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical examinations and background checks.
