JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. (JCHX) has been awarded a five-year contract for underground mining services at MMG’s Khoemacau Copper Mine at Toteng, Zone 5, -Botswana. JCHX, a global mining contractor with nearly 30 years of experience, will be responsible for the development and operation of the underground mine. The project is seen as a significant step towards MMG’s goal of increasing copper production at Khoemacau.

We seek applications from suitably experienced and qualified individuals for the following positions to be based at Toteng, Zone 5:

The Paste fill pump operator manages the pumping system to deliver paste fill materials with precise flowrates and consistency essential for underground mining stability.

Requirements

  • BGCSE
  • Computer literacy with software training such as SCADA System understanding will be an added advantage.
  • Experience as a plant operator in a processing plant for at least 3 years.
  • A strong understanding of mixing systems, instrumentation, plant controls and the ability to diagnose minor issues and perform first-line maintenance.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Instrumentation knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Valid class B driver’s license.
  • Team player.
