- Collect blood and other specimens using correct venipuncture and collection techniques

- Ensure safe handling, storage and transport of specimens to the laboratory
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-stocked collection area

Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognised institution.
- Current registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC). (where applicable)
- Proven phlebotomy experience and competence in venipuncture
- Knowledge of specimen types, tubes and handling requirements
- Experience in a hospital or private laboratory (desirable)
- Paediatric and difficult-draw experience (desirable)
