Rainbow High School wishes to appoint a dynamic, passionate, and suitably qualified Physical Education (PE) Teacher with experience in teaching the IGCSE Physical Education course to join our vibrant institution from July 2026.
The successful candidate will be expected to create and deliver engaging lessons that capture students’ interest, promote active participation, and foster a deep understanding of core Physical Education concepts and practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons from Form 1 to IGCSE level.
- Promote fitness, teamwork, discipline, and student wellbeing.
- Organise and lead sports activities, competitions, and extra-curricular programmes.
- Assess student progress and support curriculum development.
- Work collaboratively to achieve departmental and school objectives.
- Ensure the effective management of sports facilities and equipment.
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation, holistic development, and academic excellence.
Requirements
- A recognised Physical Education degree with relevant Cambridge (CIE) training in teaching and assessment.
- A minimum of five years’ IGCSE teaching experience and strong PE subject knowledge across various year groups and sports.
- Excellent classroom management, organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- A flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach, with a passion for inspiring young people and supporting their development.
