Camphill Community Trust is a non-governmental organization located in Otse, South East District which offers quality education and vocational training to learners with disabilities. Applicants are invited for the position of Physiotherapist.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Main Purpose of the Job

To assess, treat and rehabilitate physically challenged children and young adults who are referred for physiotherapy to improve their level of functioning.

Key Performance areas

• Conduct diagnostic assessments, develop and implement individual care plans, evaluate and alter treatment as necessary, for learners and staff with disabilities.
• Recommend, procure, and maintain appropriate specialist equipment.
• Liaise with and educate: family members, teachers and support staff regarding individual care plans.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in the management of learners with physical disabilities.
• Maintain records and produce regular reports as required.

Qualifications

The suitable candidate should have a BSc Degree in physiotherapy. Experience in hydrotherapy will be an added advantage.The candidate should have three years’ experience in physiotherapy and be registered with Botswana Health Professions Council.

Salary: (PI20,000.00 – PI44,000.00) per annum, 25 leave days, 50% medical aid cover as well as subsidised and secure accommodation.
