Key Responsibilities
- Pre-delivery inspection and commissioning of new and rebuilt units
- Completion and submitting of accurate service order memos for opening and closing of jobs.
- Customer assistance with fault finding and repairs
- Trouble shooting problems with Epiroc Equipment
- Audit reports with required spare parts/ service quotation and sales on customer equipment.
- Promotion of all services and products.
- Field investigation-Warranty investigation
- Sales company liaison for tech issues.
- Local projects for product upgrades.
- Fleet management database and drafting monthly reports
- Responsible for quality assurance of services rendered.
- Compiling of quotations for repairs and rebuilds.
- Following of policies and procedures to minimize risk.
- Generate parts sales and after sales service
- Conduct operator and maintenance training
- Follow up on back orders and audits
- Technical assistance and coaching of customer technicians
- Technician and operator assessment
- Build strong relationships with customers
- Customer activity and prospects
- Enforce and practice Epiroc procedures and policies as described in “The Epiroc Way”
- Comply with all SHEQ regulations
- Any other duties and projects as required by the Manager
Requirements
- Must have at least 5 Years of relevant experience.
- Computer literate
- National Craft Certification-or Diploma in engineering field. – Requirement
- 5 years’ Experience of Mobile Mining Equipment – Requirement
- Automation (Understanding of communication networks -Wi-Fi, LTE etc)
- Understanding of Rig Control System (RCS)
- Technical Background
- Good interpersonal / customer relations
- Good telephone manners and skills.
- Must be able to work independently without supervision.
- Be presentable to customers in grooming and dress code
