Key Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses.
- The candidate should be able to teach at least three of the following: structural geology, tectonics, metamorphic geology, mineralogy, field and general geology.
- The successful candidate must also be able to take an active role in supervising and assessing undergraduate and graduate research work.
- The Department reserves the right to allocate additional courses beyond those outlined above.
Requirements
- Applicants should possess: (i) a PhD in structural geology and metamorphic geology or related discipline; (ii) evidence of governance and social engagement; (iii) research collaborations with other institutions or organisations; (iv) research collaboration with cognate disciplines in the University; (v) external examiner for Masters and/or PhD theses internationally.
- UNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: 9 years
