Our Client, a safari lodge in Botswana’s Ngoma region, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

Our client is a premier luxury destination in the Botswana Ngoma region. They are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for their guests while preserving the areas natural beauty and biodiversity. Due to the growth and success of their lodge, they have several development projects underway. They seek a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead this development.

Employment Type: Fixed term- 1 year

Position Overview:

As the Project Manager for the lodge’s expansion, you will oversee all phases of the development, from conceptualization and planning to construction and final handover. This includes managing budgets, timelines, contractors, and team members to ensure the expansion meets the highest standards and our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers and owners.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Foster a positive team environment and solve conflicts effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards.
• Preference will be given to Botswana citizens.
