Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
– Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including project schedules, resource allocations, task dependencies, and milestones
– Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and ensure project success
– Facilitate project kickoff meetings and regularly scheduled project status meetings to communicate progress, identify and resolve issues, and make necessary adjustments to the project plan
– Monitor and track project performance against the established plan, and provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders
– Analyze project data and metrics to identify trends, detect potential problems, and recommend corrective actions to keep the project on track
– Coordinate the activities of cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with project goals
– Manage project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and other relevant artifacts
– Provide support and guidance to project team members on project management best practices and tools
– Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project planning and delivery
– Stay informed about project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices, and implement relevant changes to improve the organization’s project planning capabilities
– Collaborate with the project management office (PMO) or other project management functions to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization’s project portfolio
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field
– 3-5 years of experience in project planning or project management, preferably in a similar industry or domain
– Proficient in using project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira)
– Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
– Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills to develop and execute comprehensive project plans
– Adept at identifying and assessing project risks, and developing effective mitigation strategies
– Proficient in project cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse project stakeholders
– Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze project data, identify issues, and recommend solutions
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate the efforts of cross-functional project teams
– Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to the organization
– Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management certifications are highly desirable
