Radiographer – (Tenable in Jwaneng)

Mission:

Using radiation in the form of x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging and/or ultrasound, the radiographer will conduct imaging assessments in an effort to assist the physician with screening, diagnosis and/or treatment of patients for a variety of diseases and injuries.

Key Performance Areas include:

• Perform Direct Digital Chest X-rays
• Perform Ultrasound and other imaging studies as required
• Compliance
• Reporting

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in    Diagnostic Radiography
• Certificate in Ultrasonography
• Registration with Botswana Health Professions Council

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant post-qualification experience
• Experience in ultrasonography will be an added advantage

Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of techniques in general and specialized Radio-diagnostics.
• Ultrasound
• Computed Tomography and Fluoroscopy
