The company is searching for a dynamic, well-spoken individual with a pleasant demeanor to attend to all reception duties, including administrative and secretarial support to the COO and CTO. The role will be reporting to the Group HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general reception and switchboard services and receive visitors
  • Answer the phone and relay calls as requested
  • Screen all incoming and outgoing calls
  • Maintain a friendly approach as well as a presentable reception area
  • Perform basic administrative and general office duties
  • Act as secretarial support to the COO and CTO
  • File all daily newspaper publications and distribute mail for the Editorial department
  • Coordinate and monitor stationery inventory for the COO and CTO
  • Coordinate business travel arrangements for all staff
  • Any ad hoc duties as and when required by the Editor

Requirements

  • A Secretarial Diploma (or equivalent) & 4 years relevant experience
  • Must be computer literate
  • Fluent in English is a pre-requisite
  • Valid Namibian driver’s license will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have a high level of professionalism
  • Must have excellent customer relations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong administration and typing skills
  • Good listening and communication skills
