Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of research projects on economic, climate and energy transition themes.
- Lead the development of high-quality concept notes and proposals for programmes/project in line with funder requirements.
- Produce high-quality outputs, including policy papers, programme reports, briefs and peer-reviewed publications.
- Lead programme implementation from design to closure ensuring programme delivery within scope, budget, quality, timelines and funder compliance requirements.
- Manage portfolio programmes, and represent 4T at conferences, coverings and stakeholder engagements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Research Associates and Analysts.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in engineering, economics, energy or a related field. A PhD is an advantage.
- Substantial research experience, with a strong publication or policy-output record.
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more of: energy transition, climate policy, sustainable finance, or development economics.
- Proven ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders and secure funding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
