The position will be responsible for protecting mine personnel, visitors, assets, copper/ore product, fuel and explosives-related areas (as applicable) and critical infrastructure by enforcing access control, conducting patrols, preventing losses and responding to incidents in line with the Site Security Plan and company policies.

Requirements
- A minimum Junior Certificate (Form 3) or equivalent (BGCSE/IGCSE preferred).
- A minimum of one (1) year security experience preferred; mining/industrial site experience will be advantageous.
- Registration/compliance with applicable Botswana private security regulatory requirements (as applicable to employer/PSIRA-equivalent local authority).
- Basic first aid (Level 1) will be advantageous.
- Firefighting awareness will be advantageous.
- A valid Driver’s license will be advantageous.
- Medically and physically fit for patrol duty, long hours and outdoor conditions (heat/dust).
- Good communication skills and a high level of integrity.
- No criminal record.
- Observation, communication, basic report writing, radio discipline, basic computer literacy (advantage).
