EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and post graduate courses, provide research and academic leadership in
agricultural extension and rural development, supervise students’ research projects, and participate in individual and/or
collaborative research in agricultural extension and related areas. The candidate will also be involved in curriculum review
and development of new academic programmes for undergraduate and post
graduate levels in agricultural extension and undertake other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

FACULTY OF AGRIBUSINESS, EDUCATION AND EXTENSION
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITIONS:
(i) Possess a minimum of a PhD in Agricultural Extension or related field from a recognized university.
(ii) Possess a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Extension or related field from a recognized university.
(iii) Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Extension or related field from a recognized university.
(iv) University teaching experience and a good research and publications record will be an added advantage.
(i) A minimum of a PhD in Agricultural Extension or related field from a recognized institution.
(ii) Possess a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Extension or related field from a recognized institution.
(iii) Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Extension or related field from a recognized institution.
(iv) Extensive publications in a wide array of quality publication outlets and refereed journals. A minimum of six
(6) research products, at least four (4) of which are refereed journal articles reflecting a spread of national,
regional and international journals; lead and/or single author in at least two (2) refereed journal articles or
book chapters.
(v) A minimum of Three (3) years of teaching experience at a university or equivalent institution.
(vi) Should have served at a position of Lecturer for at least three (3) years and has significant and original
contribution to the discipline through research and/or scholarship.
(vii) Evidence of attraction of research grants from external sources.
