AUDIT
Senior Manager; Audit

Reporting to Audit Partners, successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Plan and manage audit engagements
• Review financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Carry out special assurance assignments as and when required
• Establish and maintain sound working relationships with client counterparts
• Manage audit costs and working capital
• Constant monitoring of processes and procedures over the provision of external audit services by the firm
• Undertake and or manage ad-hoc assurance and advisory assignments as may be required from time to time;
• Provide on the job coaching for less experienced staff as and when required

Qualifications and experience required for the role:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Post graduate diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant
• At least ten (10) years post-qualification experience in a financial accounting / audit environment, 5 of which should have been in a managerial role in one of the Big 4 audit firms.
