POSITION TITLE: SENIOR MANAGER – CLIENT EVALUATION &. CRITICAL ANALYST

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Evaluation of client and identification of areas to be focused before initial client engagement Expert in client & company risk assessment
•Skills in critical evaluation of client work environment and adaptability of procedures & controls to the identified environment.
Expert in work allocation to different staff members with duties which are suitable as per the capabilities of different staff members.
Liaising with potential clients, expert groups, consultants, financial institutions, various governmental & non-governmental agencies like BURS etc.
•Prepare and manage company budget from time to time, critical evaluation of variances and skills for resolving the gap between budget & actual.
•Expert in managing company’s resources in a rational manner.
Expert in dealing with compliance procedures with the regulator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The applicant should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum post qualification experience of 12 years.
•An associate or fellow member of Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 12 year experience in distribution & retail industry
•Must have in depth knowledge in industries of hospitality, logistics, retail, distribution, software and various services.
Expert knowledge and minimum experience of 10 years in various fiscal laws of Botswana &. its guidelines
Experience of formulating financial policies and control systems is an added advantage.
•Expert knowledge in accounting software, Pastel, Quick Books, Tally, Sage Evolution. A minimum working experience of 5 years required in any of the above software.
Must have finalised corporate financial statements and must have experience in consolidation of accounts and worked in full IFRS environment.
