We are looking for a Senior Manager Inventory and Logistics Control to lead a team and help the company reach its goals through continuous innovation and improvements. The role requires expertise in chain business management, supply chain, inventory management, sales management, and purchase management.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining policy and procedures relating to inventory control, to include ensuring the accuracy of warehouse inventory and analyzing quality of products.
- To ensure that the division is in compliance with government policies and regulations.
- Ensuring logistical efficiency for the company and work in tandem with other Departments.
- To review the receiving and stocking procedures to ensure that policies are followed.
- Responsible for employee development through training on policy & procedures.
- To recognize the signs of operational problems (e.g., Quality of produce in different seasons, wrong product in slots, high shrinkage, receiving errors, storage issues) and provides detailed corrective action plans.
- To ensure the cycle count and count back program is executed as designed, and is consistent and accurate.
- To ensure product rotation standards are maintained.
- Creates a harmonious department by keeping lines of communication open.
- To comply with FSSC 22000 Standards for Storage and Distribution.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or equivalent.
- Well versed with chain Business management.
- Minimum of five years of experience in similar work.
- Good knowledge of Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Sales management, Purchase Management and related activities.
- Capable of leading a team.
- Knowledge of Pastel/IQ or any other custom made Inventory Software is essential.
- Good knowledge of business.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
