Key Responsibilities
- Run machines for different mesh designs and types
- Set welding frequency and voltage for strong, compliant welds
- Maintain pneumatic systems and auxiliary equipment, including wire straightening, cutting and bending machines
- Assemble, dismantle and repair machines; replace brakes, contacts and parts
- Find and repair defects in finished mesh
- Train interns and write SOPs for machine operation
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience on mesh welding machines
- English is compulsory
- Knowledge of steel grades ( Experience of knowing the steel to be used)
- No academic results required. Confirmation required where operated the Welded mesh Machine, reference letter. Machine explanation will be needed when you apply to understand if you have experience
- Willing to relocate to and work in Selebi-Phikwe
