JOB SUMMARY
Mascom is looking for a Senior Power Engineer whose purpose will be to maintain and optimize the power network, ensure power network expansion and availability.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Power network expansion and availability
• Project management
• Network performance
• Occupational Health and safety
• Quality management
• Data Centre Operations and Maintenance
KEY COMPETENCIES
Key behavioral competencies for the job include Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking, Adaptability & Flexibility, Detail & Quality Orientation, Initiative & Drive, Results Orientation & Execution, Stress Management, Teamwork/Collaboration, People management and Resource management.
The candidate should also demonstrate key technical competencies in Site planning & Optimization, Environmental Management, Compliance management, Network Deployment, MIS & Reporting and Power Infrastructure management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field
• Relevant professional certifications would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years practical work experience.
• Experience in network operations preferably in Telecommunications or Network industries.
