Louwill Lefa will shortly be commencing with the fabrication and erection of the Karowe Diamond Mine headgear, as a sub-contractor to UMS Botswana (Pty) Ltd, who are busy with shaft sinking and underground construction for Lucara Botswana (Pty) Ltd at Letlhakane in the Boteti sub-district. Shaft sinking and underground construction, as well as the erection of shaft headgear, are highly specialised activities and an expert understanding of sinking methodologies, underground construction, mine health and safety as well as contract management knowledge is essential. We are currently searching for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to be considered for the following positions in Letlhakane. Please note that all positions are project based and that all applicants for the technical position must have been trained in working at heights and the use of portable electric equipment:

Job Summary
The Administrator will provide consistent, courteous support to our leadership team and will keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. The Administrator will oversee all administrative and clerical activities, greet and direct office visitors, collect, organize, store, and retrieve information and documents, make arrangements for meetings and travel, and handle basic office tasks, such as answering phones, updating employee, client, and company data, filing, and keeping a clean, welcoming environment. He/she may also supervise the administrative staff members and provide some bookkeeping services. To be a successful Administrator, you should be committed to facilitating smooth, efficient office operations by planning carefully, anticipating needs, and providing responsive, reliable assistance. You should be adaptable, proactive, supportive, and detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting company leadership and supervising administrative department activities and staff members.
- Greeting office visitors and directing them to the appropriate parties.
- Handling or delegating basic office tasks, such as filing, preparing meeting areas and presentation materials, delivering mail, answering emails and phone calls, and data entry.
- Coordinating schedules and managing calendars for multiple parties to ensure that activities are properly arranged, and conflicts are prevented.
- Making travel arrangements and preparing documents, presentation materials, and facilities for meetings.
- Entering and updating company, employee, and client records.
- Ordering, storing, and distributing office supplies and maintaining, or replacing office equipment.
- Directing, reviewing, and optimizing office operations to increase accuracy, productivity, and efficiency and reduce costs.
- Providing basic bookkeeping services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum grade 12
- 5 Years’experience in site administration
- Computer skills excel, word and power point
- Time keeping of employees
- Booking training for employees
- Arrangement of accommodation and traveling arrangements
Any other relevant certificates for administration
