SITE AGENT – Estate Construction

VACANCY 

Position Title: SITE AGENT ( 1 No POSITIONS)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent to join our construction management team. The successful candidate will oversee daily construction site activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The Site Agent must have strong leadership, technical, and communication skills to manage site personnel and coordinate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

– Supervise site installation methods, materials, and resources.
– Plan and coordinate construction activities to ensure schedule adherence and compliance with quality and safety standards.
– Liaise with project managers, engineers, supervisors, contractors, and suppliers.
– Monitor project progress, critical risks, and milestones.
– Ensure compliance with contractors, building codes, and safety regulations.
– Handle site-related negotiations, variations and claims.
– Update drawing register and distribute accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution, or related field.
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in site engineering, construction supervision, or a related field.
– Registration with a recognized engineering body (e.g. ERB) is highly desirable.
– Postgraduate qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management or certifications in Health and Safety (e.g. OSHA, NEBOSH) are an added advantage.
– Proficiency in MS Project, and AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction management software is desirable.
