Main Purpose of the Job
Reporting directly to the Head of Information, Communication and Technology your role as a Systems Analyst will be to provide operational leadership for the Information and Technology function by ensuring that the systems in the organization work together to support the whole business. The incumbent will provide guidance on ICT systems by analyzing how well the various systems fit into the needs of the organization. These include Emergency Medical Systems, (EMS), Global Medical Services (GMS) HR Systems, Pharmacy systems, financial management packages and all other business systems.
Key Performance Areas
-
Implementing the MRI ICT systems strategy enterprise architecture and business system plans; assessing cost and feasibility and ensuring the plan is aligned and supports the strategic goals of MRI.

Ensuring legislative compliance of ICT strategic initiatives with regulatory, legal, and commercial requirements.

Ensuring continual functioning and availability of mission critical systems and applications.

Managing and accounting for ICT applications inventory.

Ensuring implementation of data security and conducting selected application backups to ensure that ICT systems are protected against unauthorized access.

Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures that govern the use of hardware, software, and access to data to manage network activity, data security and maintenance of hardware and applications.

Developing, maintaining and facilitating implementation of a sound and integrated ICT architecture.

Monitoring and reviewing the utilization and performance of the ICT infrastructure and applications.

Managing ICT systems application portfolio.

Monitoring and reviewing software licensing requirements to ensure current licensing

Managing ICT business risks related to information security and data privacy.

Ensuring security of data from internal and external attacks through monitoring, reviews and implementations of security measures.

Proactively support department and Programs Manager in all projects championed by ICT in all assigned tasks.

Implementing robust and effective SLA management procedures for all contracted third-party vendors.

Establishing and maintaining relationships with all key vendors and stakeholders to facilitate the optimal functioning of the business.
Qualifications and Relevant experience
-
You will need to possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or any relevant IT discipline.

The relevant experience required is a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in similar role or equivalent.
Competencies
The key competencies of this role include ability to adapt to a changing environment; excellent communication skills; customer focused with calm disposition; Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products; attention to detail; Interpersonal effectiveness; teamwork; results focused and performance management.
