Role: Technical Project Manager and OEM Supervisor

Level: Senior

Duration: 13 Month Contract Location: Lobatse-Botswana

Minimum Mandatory Requirements:

• Over 5 years Project Management experience of Major Capital Projects with budgets over 30 million Pula
• Over 10 years Project Management Experience in clay brick industry
• 10 Years’ Experience in JC Steel and Sons’ stiff extrusion equipment and Handle GMB Machinery.
• Technical/ engineering experience in plant layout and materials process design
• Able to design using AutoCAD and Inventor programs
• Competent using MS Projects

Your role as a Technical Project Manager and OEM Supervisor will include:

• Plant Layout and Process Design for a clay brick factory
• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the project
• Creating and maintain the project timeline using MS Projects
• Managing the project process and adapting the work as required
• Coordinating contractor services on site and internal project resources
• Ensure that the project meets time deadlines and project budget
• Managing the relationship between clients and stakeholders
• Participating in the tender process to select subcontractors and suppliers for the project
• Plant layout and Design using AutoCAD and Inventor
• Perform overall quality control of the work
• Fabrication, maintenance, refurbishment of clay brick making equipment including extruders, push through cutters and refining rolls.
• Installation and commissioning of OEM equipment
