VACANCY: TEMPORARY ASSISTANT SYSTEMS ANALYST

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Botswana Citizens for the above mentioned post tenable at Ghanzi District Council- headquarters.

SALARY: C3 – (P115, 260-P136, 812) per annum

LEAVE: 25 Working days per annum

QUALIFICATION: Degree in Information Technology or related field.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To assist, develop and manage systems in accordance with user requirements.

DUTIES:

• Assist in carrying-out investigative work on requirements, information flow, processes and producing documentation according to required standards, methods and tools to design program application system.
• Conduct audit of information processing systems and applications to ensure accuracy of information and promote efficiency.

• Documents in hard copy and electronic form all systems and PC parameters.
• Provides technical assistance to users by responding to errors, problems about applications.
• Undertakes any other related duties as directed by management.
