RE: TEMPORARY FIELD ASSISTANT

Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens for the post of Temporary Field Assistant for the 2021/22 ploughing season in the Department of Crop Production, South East for 4 months.

Salary Scale: B5 (P3715.00 per month)

Qualifications:

Minimum of J.C

• 18-35 years age
• Have no criminal record
• Must be physically and mentally fit
• Must be of sober habits

Main Purpose: Measuring fields planted under ISPAAD and fill completion certificates for payments.

Duties

• Measure ploughed/ planted and harrowed fields,
• Calculate total ploughed/ planted and harrowed.
• Fill in completion certificates.
• Submit completed certificates to the supervisor for cross checking.

Compile reports.

Do any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
