Reporting to the Processing Manager, the Processing Training Manager should hold a BSc in either Metallurgy/ Chemical Engineering / Mineral Processing / Chemistry and have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the mining industry and a minimum of fi ve (5) years Gold Processing experience with an in-depth knowledge on Plant Operations/Training and Management, and specific exposure to Crushing, Milling, Flotation, CIL, Gravity Separation, BIOX, Gold Room and Tailings. Knowledge and experience on instrumentation and laboratory techniques would be an added advantage.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Lead the delivery of all operational training requirements at Mupane Gold Mine’s Processing Operations.
- Ensure all Mupane Gold Mine Processing Staff are able to perform their roles in accordance with site and industry standards and in line with Mupane Gold Mine’s policies and procedures.

- Lead the provision of training to up skill and increase profi ciency among current Mupane Gold
- Mine’s Processing Staff .
- Provide Process Plant operational coverage and support as required.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas focus.
- Develop a comprehensive manpower training plan.
- Draw up an Implementation training plan.
- Conduct reviews and recommend improvements.
- Experience working in a Gold processing mine is essential.
- The successful candidate should have a traceable record of providing Leadership, Supervision and Training in Gold Process Plants.
