Main Purpose of the Job

The position will report directly to the Country General Manager and will work in a collaborative environment with the sales team to maximize revenue opportunities and optimize profits. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new strategic alliances and managing existing ones.

The main purpose of this role is to secure ongoing sales within retail, dealers, brokers, and third-party administrators in Botswana by proactively managing strong relationships through daily contact with key customer stakeholders.



The role will be responsible for coordinating all local activities for Kwesé with the stakeholders and driving the growth of Kwese solutions and services within various channels.

The role will organize and drive the internal team to ensure efficient execution of customer deliverables and support through the entire customer buying cycle, including post-sales support.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for a geographic territory, vertical market, or named account list.

The role will work very closely with other support roles within the Country organization and the rest of the organization to ensure the highest customer satisfaction at all times. This person will manage relationships with other staff functions to ensure appropriate resources are available and focused to support selling objectives.

Be a dynamic, high-energy individual with proven organisational and time management skills.
He / She will exhibit exceptional communication skills and have the ability to ensure that key stakeholders within the company receive all relevant sales support, customers, and product information during the product development and sales process.
This person will be professional and customer oriented, with ability to meet and exceed Company’s annual sales goals and to manage multiple priorities while working on various projects with different teams simultaneously with variable and flexible schedules.
This person will have a proven track record of successfully landing large strategic accounts and sustaining the business over several years.

Skill, Knowledge, Education and Experience


Leadership and Business acumen
Communications Proficiency, oral and written
Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Good computer skills; full MS Office suite
Customer Client Focus
Sales Planning & Business Development
A First Degree / HND
An MBA or a Masters in Marketing would be an added advantage.
10 years of Sales experience
Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy
Knowledge of advertising/ retail/ telecom/ media industry
