Cafe Pie Time is a new chain of restaurants which operates from Main Mall, Bodiba Mall, Broadhurst Industrial, African Mall and Pilane.

Cafe Pie Time is looking for high caliber individuals with unquestionable integrity and with a passion for food and beverages who would like to build their career in the industry which they love.

We have the following key positions available for the right candidates.

5 POSITIONS – KEY AREAS RESTAURANT MANAGERS:

Achieve Restaurant Operational Objectives – Contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer- service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing change, adhering to menus and promos.

Prepare daily preparation sheets, control daily stock and cash, maintain ambiance – controlling lighting and background music, ensure proper dinnerware and utensil placement; monitoring food presentation and service, adhere to the set cleaning schedules.

Achieve Restaurant Financial Objectives- Achieving and exceeding agreed monthly and annual restaurant budgets; analyzing variances; initiating timely corrective actions.

Accomplish Cost Controls – Adhering to recommended portion control and quantities of preparation; and recommending wherever necessary to minimize waste while ensuring high quality of preparation.

Achieve Restaurant Marketing Objectives – Creating valuable ideas for marketing and publicizing the restaurant by placing advertisements; inviting food editors to review the restaurant; contacting local, regional, and national magazines with feature ideas; encouraging local businesses to hold social events at the restaurant, and take necessary measures to exceed sales expectations.

Accomplish Restaurant Human Resource Objectives – Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

Accomplish Legal and Regulatory Requirements – Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with all applicable legal regulations; license renewals, developing and implementing disaster plans;

Accomplish Social Media Expectations

Contributing to social media tweets and respond accordingly, avoid customer complaints, maintain high rating of the restaurant at all times.

Accomplish Personal Development

Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; reading from the internet, maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Accomplish and Enhance Brand Reputation – Ensure that all brand requirements are conformed to. This includes representing the company in public media.defend the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for anything and everything in pursuit of the above objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

The candidate must have the following key skills in order to achieve the above key areas – People Management,

Planning, Foster Teamwork, Give Feedback. Customer Service, Self-Motivated, Developing Budgets, Maintaining Postive Energy Levels. Communication.

Experience and Basic Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Restaurant Manager
• A Chef’s background will be of added advantage
• Between the ages 30-40
• Valid driver’s license
