Position: IT Manager

Responsible for overseeing and managing a company’s information technology projects. Coordinates project phases from development to installation. Acts as liaison between clients, vendors, and consultants.

Key responsibilities;
• Manage Information technology and computer systems
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data centre.
• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Oversee all phases of project from conception to completion.
• Provide risk assessment.
• Hardware and software installation and upgrades
• Implementation and programming of computer networks and software
• Development of private intranet and public Internet sites

Ideal Candidate will have;

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Computer Field
• Five or more years of IT work Experience in a senior position
• Experience with Kerridge Commercial Systems or any ERP system will be an added advantage
• Excellent organizational skills, Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Great IT skills combined with a good head for business
• Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
