Kendrick Recruitment is now searching for an experienced Equestrian Stable Manager for an award-winning Horse-riding Safari operation, based in the majestic Okavango Delta of Botswana!
Position Overview:The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the equestrian facility, ensuring the health and care of horses, training of horses and riders, and care of facilities and equipment.This position is suitable for a single candidate with all-round riding, veterinary, horse training and yard management skills.Excellent organizational skills, a high energy level, and preferably a minimum of 3 years of horse stable management experience, with veterinary knowledge will be required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A qualification in an equestrian field is advantageous
- 3 or more years’ experience in stable management is a requirement
- Strong administration skills
- Veterinary knowledge is essential
- Horse-training experience is essential
- Must have a relevant higher education diploma or degree for visa purposes
- Valid Driver’s license
- Excellent guest skills – ideally with lodge-based hospitality experience.
