Job Description

The incumbent will join a team of researchers focused on HIV/TB and coinfections. The fellows will be expected to register with a local or regional University for an Masters in Biostatistics degree. For the MSc project, the fellow will work on HIV or TB or other related infections projects. The research project will be developed in consultation with the BHP and University supervisors.

Qualifications and requirements

• B.Sc degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or Epidemiology or Public Health with specialization in Epi/Biostatistics or related.
• A final grade of 2.2 or better for the BSc is required.
• At least 1 year research experience is required.
• Abstracts presented in international conferences or publication(s) in peer –reviewed journals will be an added advantage

Salary and benefits

• A competitive stipend will be given to the successful candidates.
• The University registration costs and the research costs will be covered by the fellowship
