Botswana Accountancy College – Assessment Manager

Botswana Accountancy College is looking for suitably qualified individuals to teach on a range of programs on a fulltime and part-time basis within the School of Finance & Professional Studies (SFPS), School of Business and Leisure (SBL) and the office of the Registrar.

1. ASSESSMENT MANAGER

(Three year renewable contract tenable in Gaborone)

Main Purpose of the Job:

To administer all aspects of internal and external examinations and assessment in accordance with the regulations laid down by the College and external partners or bodies. To collaborate extensively with the Schools and other department of the College on centralized examination and assessment matters, and the final awarding of grades

Key Performance Areas:

• Managing and supervising Examinations Office staff
• Overseeing all aspects of College examinations and assessment functions
• Developing examination timetables in conjunction with Schools and academic departments
• Managing end of semester examinations and assessments
• Coordinating external and internal examiners, moderators and supervisor reports for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses’examinations, and for research assessment
• To ensure a safe and secure examination storage and student record safekeeping and security

Experience and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education/ Social Sciences/Educational Planning / or any related field.
• A minimum of eight (8) years post qualification experience in Tertiary education management role, at least four 4 of which should have been at management / supervisory level.
