Financial Accountant – Botswana Accountancy College

Main Purpose of the Job:

To ensure that all internal and statutory compliance requirements within BAC are met and manage the institution’s accounting records.

Key Performance Areas:

• Develop and manage small budget (cost or revenue) to ensure execution of goals
• Ensure accuracy and validity of invoices, approve payment and reconcile statements
• Manage overall billing and collection process
• Prepare chart accounts financial statements and management reports
• Prepare income statements, balance sheet, cash flow financial reports
• Manage the full cycle payroll runs and integrate information into financial general ledger

Experience and qualifications:

Full membership of a professional Accounting Body (eg. ACCA, CIMA) must be registered with BICA.

Atleast six (6) years post qualification experience in an accounting/finance environment, three (3) years of which should have been at supervisory level.
