TECHNICAL SUPPORT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR – PSU

PSU has been responsible for the implementation of both the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Cogsdale Billing systems currently being used by all the Local Authorities in Botswana. As a privately-owned company, PSU (Botswana) provides IT Consultancy, software design and development as well as professional services and hardware deployment and maintenance.

• Manages system security and issues access codes and passwords in accordance with authorities
• Organises the maintenance of hardware and liaises with suppliers on maintenance and repair issues
• Initiates, coordinates and follows-up ordering of computer equipment and consumables
• Monitors new hardware to ensure that the equipment operates in conformity with specifications
• Facilitates staff training in applications and assists in implementing staff training to enhance computer literacy
• Defines users and maintains lists of users, directories, desk space utilisation on servers and personal computers

• Minimum 3 years Systems Administrator experience.
• Working experience with current Microsoft technologies (server, desktop and applications).
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent experience.
• AD, DNS, ADFS, Certificate Services, PowerShell, SCOM, SCCM, VLANs experience.
• Scripting and SQL experience would be preferable.
• Previous experience in Linux Administration and patching, SQL Administration, VMware, pFsense Administration / Usage.

• Minimum is Diploma and Degree in ICT is an advantage
• Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience in supporting enterprise Microsoft Active Directory environments including DHCP, DNS, Group Policy & MS Windows server (SCCM, Exchange highly regarded).
