Trust General Manager – Okavango Kopano Mokoro Community Trust

Qualification

• A minimum of a Degree level in the discipline of Social and
• Economic Development OR Environmental Science OR
• Tourism Management OR Business Management OR Business
• Administration OR Corporate Governance

Experience:

• At least 5 years of management experience
• At least 3 traceable references
• Computer literacy

Key Performance Areas

• Management of day to day activities of the Trust
• Human Resources management
• Implementation of the development plan of the Trust
• Maintenance of relations with all stakeholders of the Trust
• Resource mobilisation for the Trust, this includes diversification of the Trust’s income streams

Skills and Competencies:

• A sound financial management understanding
• A sound tourism management experience

• Proven organisation representation and advocacy
• The ability to understand and work with communities
• The maturity to supervise staff and manage human resources
• A flexible and tolerant approach to managing community projects

• Gratuity benefit at the end of the contract as terminal benefits at the rate of 25%of annual basic earnings
