Procurement Officer – Bank Gaborone

Reporting to the financial accountant: Finance Department, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with the Bank’s Procurement Policy, requiring timely quotations, approvals, placement of orders and accuracy in reconciliation of billing againts orders in order to meet business objectives of the Bank.

Minimum Education or Qualifications:

• At least a Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Key Skills and Experience:

• 3 years experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
• Credible Network/Supplier base
• Interpersonal sensitivity

• Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to uphold the highest integrity when handling confidential and sensitive information
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Very good planning and organising skills
