System Analyst – Bank of Botswana

Main Purpose of the Job

To operate and maintain computer applications used by the Banks Departments, as well as the following facilities: the Banks computer networks, file servers, backup system, IT disaster recovery facility, workstations (personal computers), databases, office automation, data communications, internet and general e-mail access, to analyse, design and implement identified computer systems

Job Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems plus two years relevant post qualification experience. Industry-standard qualification e.g Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) very desirable.

Experience in computer system design and implementation or business process analysis, training and sustancial experience in supporting a relevant functional area or application, computer programming, database, network or office automation systems administration and support, PC file server and client support will be an added advantage
