DISPATCH CLERKS (X2) – KANSAI PLASCON

Purpose

Ensuring that all required materials, supplies and products are moved and transported as and when required, also to ensure continuous production and target achievement of customers satisfaction service level at the lowest cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking products for customers’ orders
• Packing away product received from Factories according to rotation procedure. (old product in front, new product at the back)
• Assist with sorting of new product coming in from other centres.
• Reduce cost by minimizing waste. (E.g. damages, denting tins, etc.)
• Ensuring that dispatching checklists are completed as per the procedure.
• Attending to customers collecting & returning products as well as to their queries
• Maintaining warehouse equipment in good state.
• Housekeeping
• Support Plascon Health & Safety Standards and Initiatives
• Support people systems, initiatives and teamwork.
• Actively participate in Perpetual and Official Stock Counts.
• Assist in ensuring the sustainability and improvement of product quality.
• Ad Hoc Duties as requested

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Requirements

• Computer literacy (Ms Word, MS Excel & SAP)
• Customer focus and insight (Internal & External)
• Knowledge of production & distribution procedures.
• Well- developed communication skills.
• PC literacy – Excel, Word and Power point.

Educational Qualifications

• BGCSE and /O’ level certificate
• Certificate in chain supply Management /CIPS
