Job Description: The purpose of this position Is to coordinate and ensure the availability of inventory and services In support of the production and maintenance requirements.

Main purpose:

Materials Control

• Monitor stock levels to ensure timeous replenishment of inventory In support of production and maintenance requirements.
• Review and update of Inventory reorder points and replenishment quantities for optimal Inventory Investment and Critical cost controls.
• Assist with RFC adjudication according to site requirements
• Assist with Site Demand Forecasting.
• Control stock profile classification according to equipment information and site requirements.
• Raising of strategic commodity purchase orders according to production and maintenance requirements.
• Initiates the coding process ensuring that thero is standardization and rationalization of the product catalogue.

Procurement Control:

• Sets direction on procurement process and activities
• Over inspects the tendering process. Adjudications and award process
• Controls the contracting process

Supplier Payments

• Ensure the capturing of invoices and month end reporting
