MARKETING AND SALES MANAGER – SAFARI DESTINATIONS

A destination management company based in Maun requires a Marketing and Sales Manager

• A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Marketing Management, Brand Management, International Management, Sales
• At least 10 years in Marketing and sales experience including marketing and business development, development and execution of marketing and public relations strategy and related activities including experience in using social media as a marketing tool
• At least three years in the hospitality and/or tourism industries or having worked with businesses in those industries
• At least five years of management experience including strategic management, budget management and people management with a track record of excellent service delivery
• Fluency in written and spoken English with experience in writing proposals and reports, having done presentations to clients, being able to write creative marketing material
• Highly professional including being well presented and well spoken
• Good interpersonal skills, able to inspire confidence in others
• Proven high level administration, management and organisational skills with the ability to produce high quality work, under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Strong numerical skills, able to analyse market data, work with budgets, put marketing proposals together
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Client Relationship Management systems
• International Travel exposure, having worked in Africa
• Drivers licence
• Must be willing to be based in Maun
