Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive tho risk assessment policies and procedures of Mazars Botswana and confirm adherence to those policies
• Assess and report on methods to reduce the risks on potential chants or engagements to an acceptable level
• Provide consulting to clients on risks associated with specific transactions
• Key member of the firm’s outsourcing team responsible for managing the nsks of large client portfolios.
• Assess the risk of accepting or continuing an engagement or a potential client and provide feedback to the partner in charge of the engagement
• Leading a team of assistants on bigger risk assessment engagements for clients, training them to move upwards on their job.
• Provide overall management and oversight of the Risk Management Service Line as a business unit
• Identifying channels to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value
• Train and develop staff, on risk assessment and managing.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or similar commercial discipline. Experience:
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in Risk Analysis and Advisory roles of which at least 5 years shall be at senior management level in an internationally renowned professional services firm
• Extensive experience in risk management assignments, including transnational
• Experience in use of any Risk Management Software like SPSS or SAS Risk Management Software is a pro-roqu«srto

Person Specification:

• Strong people management skills with a passion for developing others
• Detail-oriented
• Proficient in English
• Proficient in MS office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
