MEDICAL OFFICER (Locum) – BAMALETE LUTHERAN HOSPITAL

Bamalete Lutheran Hospital is a reputable, very busy level 1 district mission hospital providing a range of health care services. The hospital invites applications from suitable candidates for the following positions:

VACANCY: MEDICAL OFFICER (Locum)

Salary Scale: D4 (193, 356 – 213, 468) per annum
Qualifications: Bachelor of Medicine (MBChB)
Experience: At least 2 years post qualification
Minimum of 2 years as Medical Officer in a hospital set-up
Experience in obstetrics and ability to perform caesarean section on his/her own
Experience with ARV treatment and in Hospital management is of  advantage

Duties & Responsibilities:

All duties related to the medical department of a busy district hospital:

• The officer should be able to work independently in the wards and in the outpatient department
• Night and weekend calls
