Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Maintains good condition and safe keeping of all tools and equipment.
2.  Supportsin  maintenance, installation, repair and testing of metering and energy management schemes.
3. Maintains up to date sectional records
4. Checks consumer installation wiring to ensure that it complies with statutory and BPC regulations.
5. Carries out acceptance testing of energy meters and recommends to supervisor
6. Compiles periodic and adhoc reports.
7. Attends and provides technical advice on metering fraud investigations
8. Collects quotations and keeps track of purchase requisitions, dispatches orders to suppliers and receives materials and tools from the suppliers.
9. Ensures sectional vehicles are clean
10. Ensures compliance to SHER procedures when carrying out duties.
11. Promotes safety awareness in line with SHER requirements through periodic auditsUNDERTAKES SUCH OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS DIRECTED BY THE SUPERVISOR
