Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Maintains toolbox and avails tools as required by the work teams.
2. Excavates trenches and holes manually or using powered tools as directed.
3. Cleans and paints apparatus as directed.
4. Accompanies the work teams on lines patrol and inspections during fault location and line maintenance work to facilitate repairs and maintenance.
5. Clear trees and weeds interfering with network equipment and substations to provide access and ensure network availability.
6. Distributes shut down notices to Customers.
7. Cleans and rehabilitates work site after completion of work.
8. Cleans Corporation vehicles and maintains house keeping at all times.
9.  Ensures compliance to SHER procedures when carrying out duties.
10. Actively participates in the safety, health and environment programmes as driven by the Corporation.

UNDERTAKES ANY OTHER SUCH DUTIES  RELATED AS DIRECTED BY THE SUPERVISOR
