FINANCE MANAGER

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Strategic direction of the group
• Due Diligence for acquisitions, the financial oversight of acquired businesses’ financial departments and the financial structuring acquisitions to maximise returns
• Enhancement of financial performance, including key financial ratio’s
• Ensuring strict Financial controls operate in all business units
• Preparation of annual financial statements
• Preparation of monthly exco packs
• Monthly reporting to the Holding company
• leading of the accounts department of some 30 people
• IT Systems (SAP-BI)
• legal, statutory and taxation matters of the group
• Cost management and the introduction of cost reduction initiatives
• Involvement in the pricing strategy of the business and involvement in contract negotiations
• Working capital management

Key Requirements:

• A Chartered Accountant with minimum 15 years’ experience at financial director level, 5 of which must have been within the logistics industry
• Intimate knowledge of cost drivers within logistics industry
• Knowledge of SAP Business One Software
• Advance level of Excel
