Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities
JobRole
- Marks out, fabricates and welds high-pressure pipes and vessels from drawings in accordance with standards and specifications.
- Observes pressure tests and applies remedial action where necessary.
- Prepares drawings for minor metal construction work for approval by the Supervisor.
- Repairs metal works and manufactured equipment on the plant.
- Carries out periodic inspections of fabrication workshop equipment and tools to make sure that defects are corrected.
- Carries out on the job training.
UNDERTAKES SUCH OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS DIRECTED BY THE SUPERVISOR
