THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE BOX CUTS AT KHOEMACAU COPPER MINE

DURATION OF WORK: 11 MONTHS

CARPENTERS & STEEL FIXERS

Main responsibilities:

• The steel fixer must position and secure the steel bars or lattices in concrete forms to reinforce the concrete. Use a variety of fasteners, routers and hand tools.
• The carpenter must cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications.
• Ensure they perform all tasks according to industry SAFETY standards and in accordance with Kalcon procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties, as directed by the Project Authority and Site Managers

Skills:

• Proven experience (support by certificate) as a carpenter/steel fixer Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent understanding of the different techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the positions indicated
