JB SPORTS is looking for someone to join our personnel as

STOCK MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Purchase Order; Bookkeeping, Checking the invoice against a purchase order, Maintain the daily purchase in the excel.
• Pre GRN(Goods Receipt Note) Preparation; Identifying the existing item/new code creation. Updating the price given by the Merchandising Manager. Preparing the distribution.
• Goods Receipt Note; Receiving of invoicing and registering. Preparing excess/shortage and sending it to Department Head. Submitting of completed invoices to accounts department.
• Stock Distribution; Allocation of stock as instructed by the Merchandising Manager. Checking if any stock remaining in the warehouse after the allocation. Liaising with warehouse supervisor regarding any printout of stock distribution.
• Other Duties; Liaising with branches in case of any query related to stock allocated to them. Liaising with branches regarding the damaged product and returns. Informing the branches regarding sale/price changes/promotion. Helping Assistant Merchandising Manager in clearing IBT (between stores and warehouse).

• Should be of smart appearance and fluent in English.
• Well mannered
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Organisational skills.
• Should have a comprehensive understanding of retail
• Great command of Microsoft Excel

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A degree/ diploma in Merchandising and retailing or equivalent.
• Retail experience will be an added advantage
