IT ASSISTANT – HEAD OFFICE (GABORONE)

DESCRIPTION

To support JB Sports Retail Stores IT infrastructure, software and hardware solutions based on industry and best practice requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
• Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures.
• Installing and troubleshooting hardware peripherals like computers, printer, scanners etc.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Configuring and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
• Perform routine trips in all branches for maintenance and troubleshooting of IT equipment.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2years experience working in the same role.
